"The Bentley Boys" perform as a 3-14 man cover band that specialise in high-energy music for weddings, festivals, events and private functions - at a sensible price (€1,500 - €5,000, depending on band size and staging and lighting requirements). They pride themselves on a "cooler-than-average" song list that is never cheesy, and focuses squarely on filling that dance-floor, while still playing those classics that appeal to every music lover!
They play a very wide variety of music, to an exceptional standard, but they specialise in up-tempo music - capable of everything from rock/pop classics, funk grooves, swing and soul, and current dance hits / radio top 40. On one night they might be playing completely 1950s rock n' roll, and on the next night, only 80s hits, or a mixture of everything. You really have to see it to believe it - come along to one of their free live viewings!
They pride themselves on a style and song-list that aims at getting everyone up and jumping! Depending on the band configuration, they typically play Guitar, Drums, Bass/Double-Bass, Trumpet, Sax, Trombone, Keyboards, Violin and Vocals.
The flavour of their show is always customised to the crowd, and although they have built the band around dance-floor music they are also completely at home with the more chilled tunes that work well earlier on in the evening, during reception drinks or during dinner. All the musicians in the Bentley Boys are trained in multiple genres from Classical to Rock. With their huge range of songs, they are capable of making sure that there is something for everybody.
Each of the players in this band were hand-picked from around the country, and are exceptional performers, with at least 10 years of experience in professional live performance - it is an all-star band, and you can see their passion for music just by watching them! As there are over 14 members in the band, based both in Dublin and Galway, the Bentley Boys can perform in two different combinations in any given night in Connaught and Leinster, rockin it up from Coast to Coast!
