The Ilac Centre opened in 1981 and was the first shopping centre in Dublin’s city centre. It has a very special place in the hearts of Dubliners and is still very much a place where everyone can go and get fabulous fashions at affordable prices alongside brand names such as Debenhams, River Island and H&M.
The centre has undergone a €60m refurbishment in recent years and has been transformed into a bright and airy shopping venue all on one floor. Home to over 80 stores, the centre boasts over 28 fashion & accessory outlets, 11 homewares stores and 13 eateries from waiter service to self service and take aways.
The centre is home to the Central Library on the first floor. For more details on the Library Click Here. There is also a small chapel in the Centre located underneath the Library.
